Adoption Center Front Desk Customer Service Associate
Full-Time
The Adoption Center Front Desk Customer Service Associate is responsible for assisting the public in our adoption center located at 1300 S. Bird Street. This includes answering phones, answering customer
questions, and processing adoptions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Answer customer questions

Animal Care Attendant
Part Time or Full Time
The Animal Care Attendant is responsible for the overall daily care of animals within the shelter. This includes maintaining clean and orderly animal housing and work areas, daily feeding and well-being of animals, and assisting the public.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect all areas of the shelter, following a daily schedule and on an as-needed basis throughout the day.
- Observe animal appearance and activity for general physical condition, obvious signs of illness, disease and discontent. Report signs of illness, disease, injury or unusual activity to supervisor and veterinarians.
- Provide proper feeding and care to animals, including administering medications, if required, and animal enrichment, including walks, play time, etc.
Animal Care & Control Clerk
Part Time
The Animal Care & Control Clerk (customer service) is responsible for assisting the public at our Dorman Street facility. This includes answering phones, processing animal intake and redemptions, and assisting in lost animal searches.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Process animal intakes, which includes: strays, owner surrenders, transfers, seized/protective custody, return adopts, and wildlife
- Process redemptions and serve citations, if applicable
Animal Care & Control Officer
Full-Time
Dispatch/Client Service
- Has a general knowledge, or is able to quickly learn, all City, County and State animal control related ordinances and laws
- Answer public queries regarding animal control related matters both over the phone and in person
- Represents the Society in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- General knowledge of breeds of species found in the Treasure Valley
- General animal handling knowledge
- Ability to relate well with the public under adverse conditions and stressful situations
Shelter Vet Tech
FULL TIME
SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE!
Up to $4,000 for CVT
Up to $3,000 for non-certified, depending on experience
The Shelter Technician is responsible for the daily care of all hospitalized shelter animals and injury/ isolation animals. This includes medical treatment and maintaining a clean, healthy environment for the animals. The Shelter Technician will work closely with the Shelter Veterinarian.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for complete care of any and all shelter animals hospitalized in treatment area.
- Perform medical care as requested by Shelter Veterinarian in a timely manner.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor animals undergoing surgery
Community Medicine and Surgery Veterinarian
FULL TIME
$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Requirements
- Must possess a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine
- Currently licensed in Idaho to practice veterinary medicine or ability to obtain license upon hire; must be qualified and eligible to obtain Idaho state pharmacy license and DEA license
- Able to work four 10 hour shifts (for full-time); Per Diem work available

- Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 commensurate with experience, plus additional pay available if you pick up a shift that needs coverage
