Donate food for pets in need

The Pet Food Pantry provides dog and cat food to families and individuals in need of assistance and to homebound seniors through Meals on Wheels. It also helps us maintain our pet food supply for foster care families and provide pet food to other local animal welfare organizations.

Donate dog beds for our kennels

We want the dogs at the shelter to be as comfortable as possible while they wait to be reunited with their owners or find a new home. Our kennel floors are hard, so having a nice off-the-ground bed makes a huge difference. Kuranda allows you to purchase a bed for the shelter at a low price and have it shipped directly to the shelter.

Donate your vehicle

You can support the Idaho Humane Society by donating your used car, truck, motorcycle, SUV, RV, or boat. Donating your vehicle is easy. Contact us and we will take care of everything. You get a tax write off while supporting animals in need!

Donate Aluminum Cans

Did you know that we accept aluminum cans for recycling? We make approximately $1000 a month thanks to our generous supporters. You can drop the cans off in a gated area located at the front of our Dorman Campus, at the Bird Campus white can bin at the north end of the parking lot, or at any Zamzows in Boise, Meridian (except Lake Hazel), Kuna, or Eagle.
