BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) — The Idaho Humane Society, weeks away from opening its new state-of-the-art building, has delayed its grand opening.
The Humane Society says the delay comes after a driver on Monday accidentally hit the wrong pedal and “ran into the front of our building and caused structural damages.”
“The sum of these issues will cause significant delay to repair before we can open,” IHS said. “We appreciate the public’s patience as we navigate these repairs and look forward to welcoming them to our state of the art facility.”
