This annual event is hosted Memorial Day weekend every year because Dennis’ birthday was near Memorial Day, according to an obituary one of the residents wrote.
In the spirit of compassion, Dennis said they give back to local animal shelters Simply Cats and Idaho Humane Society, with some donations from the event with the prison pet presentations.
“We have an admission fee for the event, but then we ask people to bring those donations, and that gets you access to the presentations that we have during the day, so a sort of a little additional admission,” Brain said. Read more…
