BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — As temperatures rise, so does the danger for pets trapped in parked cars.
“Temperatures inside cars can maximize extremely quickly, even in the shade,” said Kristine Schellhaas, communications manager for the Idaho Humane Society.
Schellhaas said temperatures in vehicles can rise exponentially within minutes.
“Those degrees will have an impact on your pet’s life, not only in the short term, but they can have long-term consequences, from being locked in hot cars,” Schellhaas said. Read more…
