When Chi Chi arrived at our shelter in early February, we knew she needed help immediately. She had been transferred to us from another organization that was unable to provide the medical care she desperately needed. Sweet little Chi Chi had a severe facial wound, an 8mm hole in her skull called a fistula that connected to her nasal cavity.
Our veterinary team jumped into action, providing surgery, medications, and intensive medical care to help her heal. After surgery, Chi Chi spent time in a loving foster home where she received plenty of rest, recovery time, and TLC. Nearly three months later, after countless medications, exams, follow-up care, and so much love, Chi Chi has made an incredible recovery.
