Idaho Humane Society Celebrating 30 Years of See Spot Walk

The Idaho Humane Society (IHS) is celebrating its 30th annual See Spot Walk fundraising walk on October 1st! This year, all are welcome to join together in person at 10 am at Julia Davis Park in downtown Boise… a momentous day after two virtual years.

This community celebration provides opportunities to engage with fellow dog enthusiasts, experience fun contests and prizes, sample dog-related goodies from vendors, purchase tasty eats from local establishments and take in the beautiful fall colors on the 1k dog walk.

Not only is this the largest dog walk in Idaho, but it is also the Idaho Humane Society’s most significant fundraiser, assisting IHS in its mission to advocate for the responsible care and welfare of animals in the Treasure Valley and beyond. Every walker is also a vital part of the fundraising efforts and will have the opportunity to fundraise through social media to generate even more funds for IHS and the animals they serve.

Registration is open at www.seespotwalk.org. All who register will receive a limited-edition t-shirt, a dog bandanna, and an assortment of additional goodies. Hoodie bundles are also available online.

The Idaho Humane Society is incredibly grateful to See Spot Walk presenting sponsors Sparklight, Treasure Valley Subaru, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka; and Media Sponsors Lamar, KHITS 107.1, Boise State Public Radio, and KBOI-TV Channel 2 for supporting this year’s event.

The Idaho Humane Society is the oldest and largest private 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations to provide services that benefit animals in Idaho. In addition to advocacy and the nonprofit’s veterinary care, IHS offers free pet food to families experiencing financial hardship through its Pet Food Pantry and pet food deliveries to home-bound individuals through its Pet Food Meals on Wheels program.
