BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Idaho Humane Society helped rehome 621 animals in October.
Their adoptions included 226 dogs, 360 cats, and various animals including a turkey, a pigeon, and four parakeets.
There are 259 pets in the IHS foster system, and 115 dogs were returned to their owners.
IHS also donated over 4,000 lbs of food and litter to rescues in Idaho.
