Smoke in Boise forces another concert to move indoors. ‘The AC will be blasting’

Choke-worthy air quality has caused a popular outdoor Boise concert series to move indoors for the second consecutive time. This week’s Alive After 5, which is held Wednesdays at the Grove Plaza, will be relocated to Shrine Social Club, 1118 W. Idaho St. The free, family-friendly event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. in the upstairs ballroom. LowDown Brass Band will headline; Wins opens.

The decision was made “due to the smoke,” the Downtown Boise Association announced. “Idaho Humane Society will be there fundraising,” it promised,” and the AC will be blasting.” Read more…
