For those who have not found success in rehoming and are interested in surrendering a pet, please discover our updated procedures below. We are moving towards a managed intake process for owned animals surrendered to our shelter starting Monday, October 25, 2021. All owners must have a valid Government issued ID to relinquish a pet.

Managed intake is a shelter best practices procedure that allows us to keep pets at home by providing resources, including food or supplies, medical care, or support through our behavior program. Managed intake will also enable us to provide one-on-one counseling with pet owners to thoroughly understand the full scope of challenges and opportunities the pet faces in its current environment.

Once you fill out the personality profiles below, you will be directed to make an appointment.

Please note: appointments are often rescheduled, you are welcome to reschedule to an earlier time if one becomes available.

Although we can never make any guarantees, we certainly do our best to find new, loving homes for animals turned over to the shelter.
