It’s not the “Fur-Seasons,” but it is even better. Hopefully, some of these pets will find their “fur-ever” homes after being displaced.
“At the Idaho Humane Society, our mission is built on saving lives and offering second chances. Last year, we transferred nearly 1,300 animals from local rescues and shelters, allowing them to find loving homes and preventing unnecessary euthanasia. In light of the heartbreaking crisis in Los Angeles, we are deeply honored to extend our support and bring comfort to animals in need, knowing that every life we help makes a difference,” said Kristine Schellhaas, Public Information Officer.
In a news release, IHS stated that many pets are coming from animal shelters that are being converted into spaces for family reunification. To free up space and help the pets, the shelters volunteered to help. Click to read more…
