BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A homeowner north of Barber Park got a scary surprise the other day. This large rattlesnake was hanging out on their front porch.
Humane Officer Heidi Freutel and her two training officers helped the homeowner and the snake by safely removing it and relocating it deeper into the Boise foothills.
Animal Care and Control will respond to rattlesnake calls when there is an immediate danger present. For example, in the backyard, front porch, or at a park. They will not disturb wildlife otherwise. Read more…
