BOISE, IDAHO (CBS2) — Temperatures are rising in the Treasure Valley, and so are the risks to your pets. The Idaho Humane Society has some tips to keep your pets safe this summer.
Laurien Mavey, Idaho Humane Society Public Relations Specialist, says dog owners may need to change up their routines during extreme temperatures.
“You want to make sure you’re not over-exercising them, you’re going to have to probably be getting up a little bit earlier to take them on those morning walks. Make sure they have cool areas to lie in the shade if they are going to be outside and always have access to cool water outside and inside,” Mavey said. Read more…
