Feline flight: Cats arrive at Boise Airport for adoption

The charity prioritizes placing animals in cities like Boise, where shelters experience fast adoption turnover.

“Boise is such an amazing, supportive, adoption-centered community,” said Mavey. “If our animals are here longer than two weeks, they’re considered long-term.”

Greater Good Charities is an organization that serves people and animals. Tuesday’s cat flight supported Spencer’s recovery from a severe flooding that occurred last summer, which strained local shelter resources.
