EAGLE, Idaho (CBS2) — Feed Frankie’s Friends is a fundraiser that has been impacting animals in the Treasure Valley for 26 years. The annual drive helps to raise money to purchase food for the pets at the Idaho Humane Society waiting for their forever families. It all started after one woman saw the need when adopting her own sweet pup, and over the years has grown into a well known and loved event for the community.
Laurien Mavey, the Idaho Humane Society’s Public Relations Specialist says they use almost 25 hundred pounds of food a month, and welcome in around ten thousand pets a year. The Humane Society encourages people to donate at one of Northwest Pets three locations, as all donations made in-store will be matched up to 10 percent. Read more…
