- About Us
Since May 1st, 2015, in accordance with the Idaho Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA), clients of the Idaho Humane Society Veterinary Medical Center are required to income qualify for wellness exams, vaccines and routine dental cleanings. For these specific services, your household must make less than 75% of median income for the county in which you reside. Please see the chart below.
Don’t despair! We are still available to you for comprehensive or emergency services. This means if your pet is ill, has an injury or a dental problem or needs emergency treatment, we are here to help. Emergency orthopedic surgery or a referral for an orthopedic surgery by another veterinarian is also available for your pet under the agreement with the IMVA.
We encourage you to visit a local veterinarian for your annual wellness and vaccine appointments. An IHS receptionist will be happy to supply you with a list of local veterinarians and clinics.
We are sorry for any inconvenience. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Veterinary Medical Center at 208-342-3599.
