Thank you to Greater Good Charities for flying 47 dogs into the Treasure Valley from underserved communities in Louisiana! This is a life-saving flight. Most of the pets will remain with us for adoption here at the Idaho Humane Society, we also had West Valley Humane Society with us today picking up, as well as Mountain Humane and Fuzzy Pawz Rescue.
IHS will vet check the dogs and provide any needed medical work to include alterations, vaccinations, microchip, and advanced medical care needed prior to adoption. The dogs were picked up Friday by the Idaho Humane Society, West Valley Humane Society, as well as Mountain Humane and Fuzzy Pawz Rescue.
