Hatten has been selected for BoiseDev’s Great Student Award — where we pick one student each week for a $200 scholarship based on their good deeds in the community — from helping others, volunteering, and more.
Hatten wanted to work with the animals at the Idaho Humane Society, so she spent her summer volunteering there, sorting cans, cleaning, and completing all necessary training to do so. But her charities don’t stop there; Hatten created a website where she sells custom-made pet portraits and animal cards with 100% of the proceeds going to the humane society. Read more…
