Meet the creators behind Poppy + Puppy! Gabe and his brother Rory love Legos, Minecraft, and Star Wars like any normal boys but they also love creating art, playing board games, writing books, and playing outdoors with their rescue dog Maisie. This has inspired them to start a handmade business (like their mom) based on their love for animals.
Fifty percent of sales will go towards helping local animal shelters and charitable organizations like the Idaho Humane Society and Zoo Boise. Poppy + Puppy will be the featured artists Boise Merry Makers this Saturday, Dec 14th 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 50% of their sales are going to the Idaho Humane Society to “help the puppies and kitties find homes for Christmas.”
Merry Makers Market is also hosting a raffle filled with artist donations to raise additional funds for the Idaho Humane Society. You can purchase tickets at the shop this weekend, located at 1265 S. Capitol Blvd, and winners will be drawn on Monday, December 16th. Tickets are $2 each or six for $10. We will also accept donations in exchange for two raffle tickets.
