Faith was extremely underweight when she came to us and wasn’t walking well. We took x-rays and discovered that she was going to need surgery; our Veterinary Medical Center performed a double ACL surgery on her two back knees. She has been in foster care gaining weight and recovering from her surgery and is now ready for adoption!
Faith gets along greats with all dogs, big and small. Unfortunately, she is not a fan of cats. Faith walks around well and knows several commands. Her future owners will need to commit to continuing her physical therapy by having her walk up and down stairs and limiting some activities until she is completely recovered in another two weeks or so.
Faith absolutely adores children, but because of her recent surgery, we recommend no children under the age of 5 to prevent any accidental collision with her hips and legs. She will need assistance with potty training; it doesn’t appear she had been in someone’s home until foster care and she has made significant progress, however, she will need regular attention and intervals to go outside to create a routine in her new home.
If you are interested in adopting Faith and would like to submit an application for interest, please fill out the form below. Thank you!
