Cow is a cute little guy but he is afraid of the shelter environment. If you adopt him, you’ll need to work with him on not being so fearful in new situations. Once he bonds with you he may become more comfortable and active. He has good leash manners and daily walks will give him exercise and help with his socialization. He responds well to treats and could be trained to do a number of commands as long as he knows he will get fed. We have a handout on shy dogs that can help you to help Cow to improve his self-confidence. He would be best in an adults only home.
