This little guy will tug (hard) at your heartstrings. He had a home for 5 years, then went to a new family for a year, and recently ended up here at the shelter because the other dog in the home was too “hyper.” Brian is obviously a more apprehensive kind of guy so it is easy to see he may be overwhelmed easily. Too much action, noise and chaos could be too much for this boy! His previous owner also said Brian could be sweet and cuddly once he feels comfortable, and during his evaluation he showed that he can enjoy being held. Treat him kindly, gently and encourage those “lap dog” tendencies. We recommend a home with adults and possibly older, calmer children. Brian would love to be an “only dog child”, but if you are interested and have another dog then please bring them to the shelter for an introduction to ensure a good match.
Brian is currently in a foster home. Please contact the foster office at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in him.
