2. Is the registration fee per person or per dog?

The registration fee is per person and includes one dog scarf. You may bring more than one dog but they must be under control at all times.

3. Do I have to pay the registration fee if I just want to participate in the walk?

Although it is not a requirement, we encourage every participant to be registered.  Every registration benefits the animals at the Idaho Humane Society. Register online or download a printable registration form.

4. Can I register in advance but continue to collect pledges up until the day of SSW?

Yes. Pledges should be turned in on the morning of the event. Create your own pledge page or download a printable pledge form.

5. I can’t attend SSW but would still like to raise pledges or make a donation to help the animals. Can I do that?

If you are unable to attend the event you may make a tax deductible donation of any amount and/or you may raise pledges. You will still be eligible for pledge prizes. If you are unable to deliver the pledges on the day of the event, please deliver to the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. Boise, prior to the event.

New for 2008 – create your own pledge page and collect pledges online at First Giving. Additionally, (even if you cannot attend) you may register to receive a t-shirt and dog scarf.

See Spot Walk 2008 - Sponsorship Opportunities

We're inviting you to be a sponsor, again or for the first time, for Idaho's biggest dog walk and festival, See Spot Walk 2008. Sponsorship is an opportunity to show your community that you're making a pawsitive difference in our area.

See Spot Walk is more than just a dog walk with 3,000 dog lovers strutting their mutts through downtown Boise. Held in Julia Davis Park at the big band shell, festivities include retail vendor and sponsor booths, doggie contests, food, floats, music, costumes and cool prizes. Dogs of every size, shape, color and breed bring their families dressed in neat event T-shirts and doggie scarves!

Be the leader of the pack and join this great four-legged cause to help local animals in need. Check out the Sponsorship Information Packet to find out the great sponsor benefits. For more information call Christine Moore at the Idaho Humane Society, 208-387-2760.

See Spot Walk 2008 - Vendor Opportunities

Interested in reaching more than 3,000 pet-lovers and their canine friends in one fun-filled day? The Idaho Humane Society invites you to be a vendor at the 16th Annual See Spot Walk, Idaho's Largest Dog Walk. It's happening at 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Julia Davis Park.

We are offering businesses the opportunity to display, promote and sell their products and services to See Spot Walk participants and their four-legged friends. People and pets arrive at 10:00 a.m., allowing time to "shop" before the walk that begins at 11:00 a.m. Everyone returns to the park for contests, prizes, awards, lunch, and of course, more shopping! Commercial vendors will be charged a $75 fee and non-profit groups a $25 fee to participate. You will be provided with a 6-foot table, signage, and a colorful table cover in an accessible and visible area for pawsitive promotional value.

Every dollar we raise goes to a great cause. The Idaho Humane Society helps homeless animals in our community find loving homes, provides essential veterinary care and reaches out to the community to promote responsible pet ownership. By choosing to participate as a See Spot Walk vendor, you can be a vital part of this effort and do some fun marketing and sales for your business!

To register, complete the Vendor Application Form and return it by September 15. If you have any questions, call Christine Moore at the Idaho Humane Society, 208-387-2760.
